The vhf R5 is an advanced milling and grinding machine for dental laboratories, combining 5-axis machining with wet and dry processing. It works with zirconia, titanium, cobalt-chrome, glass ceramics, composites, plastics and wax, among other materials. A 16-tool magazine is paired with an automated changer that holds up to 10 discs, 60 blocks or 60 prefabricated abutments, depending on the holder configuration. The spindle reaches up to 80,000 rpm and repeatability is ±3 microns, which supports production of crowns, bridges, veneers, abutments and other dental restorations.
