The KaVo NOMAD Pro 2 is a handheld dental X-ray system that produces diagnostic images with dental film, intraoral digital sensors or phosphor imaging plates. Tube voltage is fixed at 60 kV and tube current at 2.5 mA, while exposure time can be adjusted to suit different imaging needs. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery and an ergonomic design make it easy to handle and move around the dental practice. For protection, it has an external backscatter shield and internal radiation shielding, and a control panel lets the operator choose the appropriate imaging settings.
