Chairside dental milling unit for dental practices, supporting wet and dry milling of restorations in materials including zirconia, ceramics and composites.
With the Planmeca PlanMill 35, dental restorations can be fabricated in the office using CAD/CAM technology. The unit wet mills glass ceramics, hybrid ceramics, composites and PMMA, and dry mills zirconia. Milling is 4-axis, with a high-speed spindle that reaches up to 100,000 rpm and an automated tool changer offering five tool positions. Depending on compatible materials and configurations, it produces crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers and bridges. It integrates with the Planmeca FIT CAD/CAM system and also accepts compatible designs made in third-party CAD software.
